Dr Nicholas Wyon and Dr Mohammed Zeki Ahmed were also a part of the team.

The international journal titled the report ‘The Management of Cepacia Syndrome in an Immunocompetent Non-Cystic Fibrosis Adult Patient’. it is also mentioned in the jounal that how the doctors in UAE will get global appreciation for treating an exceptional disease.

Woohoo!! Another milestone achieved by doctors of UAE as they saved a little boy’s life. The 12 year old boy was suffering from an orphan neurological disease. The same disease left his body half paralysed. Also, the boy’s respiratory organs failed after he got the disease.

Nikhil is the boy who was suffering from the neurological disorder. He is the son of Praveen and Tanu Lakhwani who are Indian expatriates. In early April, the 12 year old was having discomfort in moving his leg as it was paining. Also, Nikhil was feeling tired and dizzy at the same time.

Although the boy was having fatigue but his parents didn’t considered it to be that much serious. The reason being the boy was recovering from upeer respiratory tract infection at that time.

He was having the infection from two weeks that is why his parents thought that he might be getting tired in his recovery phase from the disease. They were having no idea that their son is suffering from a crictical rare neurological disorder.

Another milestone achieved by doctors of UAE: Gullain-Barre Syndrome

After that, Nikhil started complaining about his pain and his parents took him to the NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah. The team of the doctors which detected that the boy is suffering from a rare neurological disorder.

Dr Deepika Gandhi who is the specialist paediatric in the intensive care department said that Nikhil’s condition is very uncommon and is named as GBS. According to her, Gullain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) can be found in any age group.

However, it is more common in adults than in children. The doctors managed to the treat and save the life of the young one. Thereby, another milestone achieved by doctors of UAE by saving Nikhil’s life.

UAE: Etihad rail is going to start new door-to-door rail service for train passengers. Now, passengers can reach their final destination through public through transport. New door-to-door rail service for train passengers: Ahmed Al Musawa Al Hashemi

The Executive Director of Passenger Sector at Etihad Rail, Ahmed Al Musawa Al Hashemi, said they are taking steps towards integrating railways like various other modes of transport. He also said that public transportation facilities will be provided to the citizens so as to reach their final destinations.

Ahmed Al Musawa Al Hashemi also said that if he would have been a passenger, he will want such a service that could serve him from door-to-door. He might not want the service to be limited just from station to station. He also added to his statement that the railway department is collaborating with local authorities to get a solution so that people can be taken from the railway station and dropped at their destination. According to him, providing light trains like trams, car rentals, shared mobility, buses, park-and-ride facilities at the stations will be included in this.

To achieve the goal of providing new door-to-door rail service for train passengers, the railway department is looking to get integrated. This integration will be a high level of integration between the railways and other modes of transport.

Sultan AlNeyadi, the first Emirati to spend 6 months at ISS, started his training in the month of September in 2018. AlNeyadi began his training in September 2018, at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre at Star City in Moscow, Russia.

AlNeyadi also get his training done from Cologne in Germany and Houston in Texas. There, his trainings were all agreement of partnership with some of the major agencies of space. These agencies includes ESA, JAXA and NASA.

In May 2022, AlNeyadi also recieved the Nasa astronaut silver pin award. H ewas accompanied by one of his colleague in the award ceremony.
