Who is Noura Al Kaabi:
The UAE’s Minister of Culture and Youth, Noura Al Kaabi, is this year’s commissioner-general of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020.
Omar Saif Ghobash:
Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation for Cultural and Public Diplomacy is given the position of deputy.
The stunning UAE pavilion is form like a falcon in aviation. According to the Expo website, “the pavilion tells the tale of the UAE as a global hub. The vision of its administrators to create a nonviolent and growing society with grand plans for the future”.
First Chairwomen of UAE:
As per data available on the UAE Cabinet website, Al Kaabi is also chairwoman of the Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi & twofour54. She is also a committee member of the UAE’s National Media Council, Abu Dhabi Media, Image Nation. She is also part of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the United Arab Emirates University.
Education of Noura Al Kaabi:
Noura has done a B.A. in MIS from the UAE University & has also achieved the Executive Leadership Programme from London Business School in 2011.
Ghobash is a businessman, Author & diplomat of the UAE. Earlier, he served as the UAE Ambassador to France (2017-2018) and Russia (2008-2017). He is also the Author of the 2017 book Letters to A Young Muslim. Ghobash has done Law at Oxford and Math at the University of London.
Great to see women in UAE is managing the Pavilion. Getting this opportunity is the best example UAE is changing. Women to all are getting equal opportunities in UAE. Great initiative, great choice selecting Noura will boost the confidence of many girls in UAE. All are now waiting for the show to get started. EXPO 2020 is just one day away.
