Women’s Pavilion EXPO 2020:

In collaboration with Cartier, Expo 2020’s Women’s Pavilion revealed a presentation titled ‘New Perspectives. Addressing the inauguration of the pavilion on Wednesday 27th October, Hashimy said. Alongside the non-negotiable importance of kindness, inclusivity and chance for all, women’s justice and empowerment is not a choice but a necessity. And so, in the half-century of our present life, we have grown as a proof point for the principle that when women succeed, all of society grows.” The Women’s Pavilion at EXPO 2020 Dubai invites visitors to see the role of women in the UAE.

The show invites visitors to understand women’s central role during history leading up to the present. It honours their important — yet often overlooked — contributions to improving society.

Christine Lagarde, president of the European Central Bank (ECB) :

Lagarde, who was France’s first female finance minister:

Mona Ghanem Al Marri, director-general of the Government of Dubai Media Office:

The UAE Gender Balance Council vice-president said. “Though Govts play a vital role in promoting women empowerment. They cannot thrive without significant collaborations with the individual area, civil societies and committed individuals.” Cyrille Vigneron, president and CEO of Cartier International, said that joining his wife was the defining time of his career.

The pavilion speaks gender balance and empowerment while highlighting the difficulties women face. The world drives the Covid-19 pandemic and goes towards a more sustainable tomorrow.
