New paths to link JLT and Jumeirah Islands

Paths and roads to be built to link JLT and Jumeirah Islands in 2022

DMCC, the master developer of JLT, announced the new road network on Thursday. It said the new road network will improve the connection between the two communities.

Currently, it takes about 10 minutes to cross First Al Khail Street. Taking you directly to JLT there is a slightly longer route. That takes you through Emaar’s Springs and Meadows to reach JLT.

As of now, parking charges are Dh4 per hour while premium parking spaces charge Dh10 per hour for a maximum of three hours.

The developer did not clarify whether the new roads would be straight or winding. DMCC stated that it would carry out more landscaping work. Add additional parking spaces for visitors.
