We are commemorating India’s 75th anniversary of freedom with a large “utsav.” I’m pleased that the Lulu Group’s “India Utsav” is being observed on this historic day. The celebrations here coincide with those taking place across the nation.

Colorful displays, cultural performances, achievements celebrations, and a host of other things.
Separately, the festival was launched at each Lulu hypermarket by the Indian ambassador to the GCC.

The ceremonies are a part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” effort of the Indian government, according to Yusuffali M.A., chairman and managing director of Lulu Group International.

We are marketing Indian goods, including taste and culture, to locals as well as the sizable expatriate population living in this area. I genuinely think that I have a duty and responsibility to do this, Yusuffali stated.

I firmly believe that the LuLu Group can play a significant role in this vision of India’s future,” Yusuffali emphasised.

Is global climate change to blame for recent flooding: Statement of scientists

According to climate scientists, as the Earth warms, severe rain and flooding may occur more frequently. However, a top official from the National Centre of Meteorology(NCM) claims that this is not the only reason why there have been severe rains in the UAE this summer .

The unpredictable weather patterns and unheard-of weather occurrences that we are currently experiencing in the UAE and around the world are a result of a number of variables, according to Dr. Ahmed Habib from NCM.

Is global climate change to blame for recent flooding

This year, strong rains and unexpected floods have also affected people’s homes and property. Majorly, in nations like Oman, Pakistan, India, Kentucky, and Uganda. Thus , loss of lives of several individuals in these nations, as a result of flooding.

Additionally, Habib draws attention to the tremendous heat waves that are occurring in European nations like Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.

Major reasons for irregular weather patterns-

A major war is climate change. There are numerous aspects. And they are all interconnected. This has to be carefully examined. Several nations throughout Europe have registered high temperatures. On this side, there was a lot of rain and flooding in the UAE, Pakistan, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), which is a ring of clouds that surrounds the world near the equator and is typically home to thunderstorms, is shifting more north this year, according to Dr. Habib. In light of this, low pressure has been present in the North.

In reference to La Nia episodes, which occur when trade winds are stronger than usual and more warm water is pushed into Asia, he says. Our region is also affected by the La Lina impact.

Upcoming weather updates

On Wednesday, it will be warm and bright to partly overcast, with clouds moving in from the east during the afternoon. Winds from the Southeast to the Northeast will be light to moderate, with gusts as high as 35 km/h (15 to 25 mph).
