Pakistan PM Imran Khan stated that failure to form a general government in Afghanistan might lead to civil war.
He also said that the Taliban form a government that values human rights and guarantees Afghanistan’s soil is not used to house terrorists approaching security.
“If they do not cover all the things in the government quickly, they will have a civil war in the country, and that will be the end of this place forever. That would mean an uncertain, chaotic Afghanistan and an excellent place for terrorists. So that is a problem,” Khan said during an interview with UK media.
The prime minister also said that eventually, Afghan women would “support their rights”. When asked how much time that would need, he said: “A time, two years, three years.”
“It’s just too fresh to say anything because it’s just been a month, and after 20 years of civil war, they (the Taliban) have come into government,” the prime minister of Pakistan said to news media.
One thing is sure the way the Taliban began their rule is not looking great for them and Afghanistan. We might see a civil war in one or two years.
