New travel rules for the UAE residents flying to India

People in UAE must be aware of the new travel rules for the UAE residents flying to India. These are preventative measures against the Omicron variant of coronavirus. Different countries are setting additional regulations to prevent the spread of the Omicron virus. 

Residents of the UAE traveling to India must be aware of these new rules to experience a smooth journey. Omicron is the latest variant of Covid-19. It has spread to more than 30 countries so far.

India has made a few reforms in its rules for the UAE residents traveling the country. So, New travel rules for the UAE residents flying to India. The UAE residents traveling to India either for business or their holidays will have to follow these new rules. 

Different states of India have announced further steps to prevent the entry of Omicron in a particular form. 


The staff will test all the travelers as soon as they reach their destinations. Covid-19 positive passengers will be immediately sent to the hospital. But those who will come out as Covid-19 negative will have to follow a 7-day quarantine. 

New Delhi

Travelers visiting from international countries must submit their self-declaration form online. The international travelers must submit their forms at Air Suvidha. Also, they must submit details of the last 14 days on the site. Travelers are also required to upload their PCR test reports showing negative results. The PCR test report must be within 72 hours of the flight.


Passengers will be tested at the time of their arrival. Also, they will have to undergo a seven-day quarantine at their respective homes.


All travelers will be required to test for PCR upon their arrival. They will have to undergo quarantine as well. Also, they will have to send their 15-day travel history.

Madhya Pradesh

All travelers must have a PCR test report upon their arrival.

Jammu & Kashmir

All international travelers will be tested by the staff upon arrival at the airport. Also, they will have to undergo a seven-day home quarantine.

At the time of arrival, all travelers must undergo tests and a seven-day quarantine. The Covid-19 positive travelers will have to go home after testing again on the fifth day. Whereas, those who will test Covid-19 negative will have to follow home quarantine for seven days.


All passengers must undergo PCR tests. However, those who will test positive will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine.

In February, the UK’s Prince William will visit the UAE



Prince William will visit Dubai to mark the UAE’s 50th anniversary

During the Duke of Cambridge’s first official trip to the UAE, on February 10. Prince William will visit Dubai to mark the UAE’s 50th anniversary during the UK booth’s celebrations at Expo 2020 Dubai. The pavilion will take up most of Expo 2020 Dubai, and it will showcase talent from across the UK.

The Queen’s Baton Relay for Birmingham 2022, announced by Queen Elizabeth II in October, will take place at Expo and visit pavilions of Commonwealth nations.

Prince William will also visit the UAE as part of his visit to the UAE that strengthens the relationship between the UK and UAE.

On his visit to the UAE, Prince William will meet Emirati youth and government leaders. There will also be a discussion of two Royal Foundation programmes: United for Wildlife and The Earthshot Prize.

As an avid conservationist, Prince William will learn about UAE initiatives to prevent climate change and protect the flora and fauna of the region.
