Dubai Metro Route:
The Dubai metro route line connects to seven stations. They will provide safe and smooth transport for all the visitors.
The Dubai Metro Expo 2020 Station will start operations from October 1, synchronised with the formal opening of Expo 2020. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) stated on Saturday.
Mohammed Al Tayer:
Director-general, chairman of the RTA board of executive directors, announced that the department had developed over 15 projects taking more than Dh 15 billion to serve Expo 2020.
“However, the Dubai Metro will perform a crucial role in the daily flow of people to and from the Expo 2020 site. RTA initiated the construction of Route 2020 of the Dubai Metro to secure stable mobility for all visitors,” said Al Tayer.
Route 2020 & service timings:
The Red and Green Lines of Dubai Metro will give customer services from Saturday to Wednesday from 5 am to 1.15 am.
The service will run from 5 am to 2.15 am and from 8 am to 1.15 am on Friday. Dubai Tram will give service from Saturday to Thursday and on Friday from 8 am to 1 am.
Expo Dubai 2020 buses services:
Expo Buses will run from 6.30 am and maintenance assistance for 90 minutes after the end of Expo Gates.
Voyager commuting assistance from the parking area to the three Expo Gates will start at 9 am and last for 90 minutes after the closure of Expo Gates.
Bus help between Expo Gates start service at 6.30 am and maintain service 90 minutes after the end of Expo Gates. Taxi and e-hailing help will run around the clock.
Route 2020 stretches 15km from Jebel Ali Metro Station on the Red Line to Expo 2020 Station.
The metro line joins seven stations and gives safe and smooth transport for visitors of the Expo and Dubai districts.
Route 2020 serves neighbourhoods populated by more than 270,000 people, namely the Gardens. Also Discovery Gardens, Al Furjan, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai Investment Park and Dubai Expo 2020 site.
The route links seven stations:
One check station, three high stations, two underground stations and one iconic station: Expo 2020.
The area of advanced stations varies from 8,100 to 8,800 square metres, and the area of the two underground stations varies from 27,100 to 28,800 square metres. Expo Station crosses 18,900 square metres in area.
