Gold prices rose in the Indian market on Friday, April 23. The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold has reached Rs 45,260. The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has gone up by Rs 46,260.
Following the national trend, the price of gold varies in different cities.
Delhi: For 10 grams of 22 carat gold in the national capital, the rate is Rs 46,660. For the same amount of 24 carat gold, the price is Rs 50,860.
Chennai: In Chennai, 22 carat gold is priced at Rs 45,380 per 10 grams, while 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 49,510 per 10 grams.
Kolkata: In Kolkata, the price of 22 carat 10 gram gold is Rs 47,750, while for 24 carat gold 10 gram it is Rs 50,020.
MUMBAI: Buyers will have to pay Rs 45,260 for 10 grams of 22 carats, while the rate is Rs 46,260 for the same amount of 24 carats.
International gold prices: Spot gold rose 0.2 percent to 7 1,787.11 an ounce after hitting a high of 7 1,79.67..67 on Thursday.
Silver rate in metro city
In Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, the price of one kg of metal is Rs 69,300. The rate is Rs 5,900 more in Chennai and Hyderabad than in other metros, for the same amount one has to pay Rs 755,200.
