Expo 2020 Dubai all set to start off in three days

Expo 2020 Dubai is all ready to start on Oct. 1. With only three days ahead visitors have started flooding for the Arab World’s largest global gathering to date. This event ranks among the biggest international events that take place every five years. For this around 191 participating countries, businesses and individuals from across the globe come up. They gather to explore, innovate, discuss, and share ideas and experiences. This serves as a way to help a lot of people with innovative ideas. The UAE became the first Arab country to organize this global event. The UAE held the right to host Expo 2020 Dubai right from 2013. Therefore this was given after it beat four other countries – Turkey, Brazil, Thailand and Russia.

The Expo’s logo inspired by an ancient ring dating back to the Iron Age. This ring recovered from an archeological site discovered by Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum. This event has visitors from across the globe. This years the organizers hope to gather in 25 million visits during the duration of the event, despite the current pandemic situation. The Expo 2020 Dubai site covers an area of 4.38 square-kilometers of the Dubai South District. Also this location chose very close to the Al-Maktoum International Airport. Similarly also divided into three thematic districts: Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability. For this year the 15,000- square-meter UAE pavilion will happen to bet the biggest one. This one designed by renowned architect and engineer Dr. Santiago Calatrava.

Precautionary Measure :

Precautions to ensure safety measure taken into major consideration. Similarly visitors aged 18 and above expected to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or present a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours. However visitors who haven’t been vaccinated are asked to take tests from facility adjacent to the site. Also free visits for people with special needs and 50 percent discount for their companies on the tickets announced.
