Elon Musk Posts Video the long-awaited flight to Mars will take the mighty rocket to new heights, as previous Starship flights reached altitudes of no more than 10km.

The next-generation Starship is being develop at the Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas.

It consists primarily of two major components: the Starship spacecraft, which will carry cargo and crew, and the Super Heavy booster.

The Starbase facility’s tall tower will launch the spacecraft and catch the super-heavy booster after it escorts the upper stage into space and detaches to descend. The requirement for a tower arose because, unlike the booster used in SpaceX’s Falcon rockets. Starship’s super heavy booster lacks a landing or launching leg. SpaceX did not bother to add legs to the booster because its primary purpose is to carry a payload into space with greater efficiency. This can be accomplish if the booster launches without the extra weight of the legs.

According to Musk, the tower would also shorten the turnaround time because a second starship could be find in a short period once the booster was fully charge.

Launch of a Starship

Musk revealed that Starship would “hopefully” take off in 2022 during a virtual meeting of the National Academies of Sciences. Engineering, also Medicine Space Studies Board in November. He also stated that SpaceX would conduct several other Starship tests before moving on to commercial payloads. Per Barrel heading towards 100$ again?:

Due to the recent issues, the global oil benchmark Brent jumped 0.54 percent to $86.74 per Barrel. Many predict 100$ per Barrel in near time in 2022. 

Sensex traded more than 305.80 points or 0.54 percent lower at 57,187 points. Broader NSE Nifty fell by 71.27 points or 0.41 percent 17,079 points.
