Spread across an area of 119 hectares, the Dubai Safari Park is home to around 3000 animals from all over the world. With 78 species of mammals, 50 types of reptiles, 111 kinds of birds, amphibians, and invertebrates, visitors can find all kinds of animals. Dubai Safari Park is much more than just a zoo. It is a wildlife park, animal sanctuary & education center, all rolled into one. The park is divided into four zones – Explorer Village, African Village, Arabian Desert Safari, and Asian Village. In each zone, guests can find animals that belong to these regions. You’ll find yourself transported to the jungles of Asia, the deserts of Arabia, the rainforests of Africa, and more. Dubai Safari Park also offers many interactive programs through which visitors get up close and personal with a large variety of exotic animals.

African Village

The first zone is the African Village. It encompasses animals from the vast continent of Africa. African Village gives visitors a true taste of Africa, housing some of the world’s largest and smallest land mammals, from the African elephant to the meerkat. The reptile house features an extensive collection of snakes and other reptiles from all around Africa. The African Village is also home to UAE’s largest aviary exhibit.

Arabian Desert Safari

Arabian Desert Safari is a drive-through attraction, inspired by the vast deserts of Western Asia. It adorns emblematic species of the Arabian Peninsula. Asian Village

The main attraction of the Dubai Safari is the Safari Village drive-through. Here, the guests go on a journey of discovery through Africa and then Asia in one of our comfortable buses. Visitors will certainly find themselves transported to the jungles of Asia and the rainforests of Africa.

The park also contains other zones such as the Al Wadi “The Valley” where guests can relax, have a picnic and dine in their two restaurants located in the area. Moreover, The park offers a large variety of cuisines and cafes. In addition to the street food experience, guests will find authentic flavours and a wide range of choices.

Visitors to the Kids’ Farm can feed and touch a selection of animals and birds. It is a fun-packed mix between a farm and a petting zoo. Further, the Dubai Safari Park staff will also take visitors on educational tours to learn more about the farm’s animals and the birds that live in the Farm’s Aviary.

Children can feed a variety of birds at the Kids Farm Aviary. The Grand Aviary is the ideal spot for keen birdwatchers across the region. It has an abundance of varieties of birds to spot with the help of guides. Overall, The Dubai Safari Park is a great experience for all nature and animal lovers. Above all, it is a must-visit for anyone interested in learning more about the flora and fauna of the world. The Park is currently closed for the summer and will reopen in September 2021.
