The Foreign Ministry said Thursday that a high-level team from Afghanistan’s new Taliban authorities. Delegation of Taliban had arrived in Turkey for discussions with Turkish officials.
After the Taliban gained control of Afghanistan. The discussions in Ankara would be the first between the Taliban and top Turkish government officials. According to a Taliban spokesman, the visiting team is led by Amir Khan Mutaqi, the interim foreign minister.
The visit comes after Taliban commanders met with representatives from the United States. Also the ten European countries, and the European Union in Doha, Qatar’s capital, this week.
At a virtual gathering of the Group of 20 most powerful economies. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the international community should maintain discussion lines open with the Taliban. In order to “patiently and progressively lead” them toward building a more inclusive administration.
Erdogan said that Turkey, which currently has over 3.6 million Syrian refugees. Also would be unable to cope with an inflow of Afghan migrants. This is a warning that a fresh wave of migrants will also damage European countries.

The Taliban delegation have stated their desire for worldwide recognition. Also they warn that weakening their administration will have a negative impact on security. In addition it will lead to an even larger outflow of people leaving the nation.
The present Afghan administration, which the Taliban claim is just provisional, is full of entirely of Taliban leaders. Including some who have been assign on the UN’s blacklist.
