A series of five bomb blasts happened on Saturday. This targeted at the Taliban vehicles in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad. In this attack around three people killed and 20 got injured. This city is the capital of Nangarhar province. This has held on strong since the fall of Kabul to the Taliban in mid-August. This majorly affected.
The group went ahead lodging a series of bombings at Kabul airport on Aug. 26. This has a devastating impact and killed more than 180 people. The have been trying to flee the country in a Western airlift. However there had been no major incidents since US-led NATO troops pulled out of Afghanistan at the end of August. Following this the US military gave forward that a drone put forth targeting suspected Daesh militants in Kabul. This unfortunately killed 7 children and three adult civilians was a mistake.
The strike during the final days majorly targeted on the Daesh vehicle. US intelligence learnt about the explosives and a series of events took place. The driver of the vehicle happened to be an an aid worker for Nutrition and Education International, and the vehicle was carrying only water containers. The whole setup seemed a little suspicious and an investigation was schedules. This concluded that “the strike a tragic mistake,” McKenzie said. Currently the US government looked upon ways to make payments for damages for all the families that got killed unfortunately. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin offered his deepest condolences to the surviving family members of those who killed.
