Condemnation of failed coup attempt in Sudan renewed by Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia renewed its condemnation of a failed coup attempt in Sudan. This happened last week and the plotter loyal to ousted president Omar Al-Bashir to be the reason for this. The cabinet gave out a statement stating that the Kingdom also renewed its solidarity with the north African country. This came out after the weekly council of the ministers meeting. This meeting was chaired by King Salman from NEOM. Saudi Arabia’s visions was very much stressed in the meeting. A speech delivered by the king at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

Issam bin Saad bin Saeed, Saudi Arabia’s acting minister of media talked about the discussion. He stated that the ministers agreed that the Kingdom preserves its legitimate right. This is all with regard to defend itself against attacks by ballistic missiles, drones, and booby-trapped boats. These done against Saudi by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen. The also talked about the Kingdom’s support for international and joint efforts to create access for vaccinations around the globe during the pandemic. License for the National Bank of Egypt to open a branch in Saudi Arabia was also approved during this event. The finance minister give the authorization to decide on the opening of other branches of banks across the country.
