Brazilian soccer legend Pele leaves the hospital after surgery. He underwent treatment for nearly a month.

“I am so glad to be back at the house,” Pelé addressed in a post on his official Instagram. Pele is Brazil’s all-time foremost scorer with 77 goals. Pele leaves the hospital after surgery. He went through surgery for a colon tumour. The 80-year-old had the surgery at Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo on 4 September.
Champion of Brazil wrote on facebook:
Pele, the only player to gain the World Cup three times, left the intensive care unit 10 days later but was readmitted soon after as a “preventative step”. “I am so glad to be back at house,” Pele said in a statement on Facebook.

“I want to appreciate the whole Albert Einstein Hospital team. They took care of health beautifully. All the staff are amazing and very carrying. Gratitude also to all of you, who from distant, make my life full with so many letters of love.”
His medical team say he will remain enduring chemotherapy. Pele had been having therapy at the hospital since 31 August, after the swelling was discovered in regular tests.

His health has been a matter in recent years. He had prostate surgery in 2015. Pele was admitted to the hospital for the second time in six months. He was told again of urinary disease in 2019.
