Early Life

Along with his late childhood friend Paul Allen, he co-founded Microsoft. Gates was Chairman, CEO, President, and Chief Software Architect during his time at Microsoft. Additionally, he served as the company’s largest individual shareholder until May 2014. As an entrepreneur, he played an important role in the microcomputer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s.
In Albuquerque, New Mexico, he and Allen founded Microsoft. Became the largest PC software provider in the world. Up until January 2000, when he stepped down as CEO and was replaced by Steve Ballmer, Gates served as the company’s chairman and CEO.

Gates has appeared on the Forbes list of the world’s richest people every year since 1987.

Orange alert for rains has been issued for some parts of the country. By orange alert, the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology means that extremely bad weather is expected. Therefore, the people living around those areas should follow all the advices that have been issued by the authorities.

The NCM also said that the heavy rainfall will be experienced in southern as well as eastern parts over the upcoming three days. However, cloudy conditions can even last for a week or so.

UAE: Finally!! Key Roads are opened after two days of the flood. The route that comes from Khorfakkan’s side was closed as it was raining heavily. However, the situation is under control now. Therefore, the roads has been opened for normal functioning.

On Sunday, it was announced by the Ministry of Interior that the Fujairah-Qidfa Ring Road will now be reopened. Two days earlier, the road was closed because of floods in some parts of the emirate.

The UAE has witnessed adverse weather conditions for two days. The Arab country experienced record breaking rainfall. The citizens were forced to evaucuate and leave their houses for the same reason. The rain was majorly seen in the Northern and Eastern parts of the country. This has undoubtedly affected the infrastructure of the emirate as well.

The emirate experienced non stop rain for two days. As a result, 255.2 mm of rainwater was recorded at the Fujairah’s port station. Undoubtedly, this is the highest amount of rain water that has been measured at the place during the month of July for past twenty seven years. Thereby, the port station of Fujairah is impacted by these rain and floods the most.

Police jeeps and military tanks were also used to carry people from their houses to safer places. The people who were stranded at their work place were also helped by the cops. Finally, the situation is under control now and the emirate is trying to do all the needed thing to make everything normal again.

According to the Islamic calendar, Muharram is the first week of the year. However, it has been mentioned that July 30 will be a holiday for private sector employees. Also, the holiday will be considered as a paid holiday.

Thereby, all the Expatriates as well as Emiratis those are working in private sectors and government departments will have holidays on same days. This simply means that they will have same official working days and same holidays for both religious as well as national events.

Interestingly, the lunar system is the basis of the Islamic new year. However, the Gregorian new year is entirely based on the solar system. According to the Islaminc calendar, Muharram is the first month of the year.

The Islamic new year is also known as the Arabic new year and the Hijri new year. Ibrahim Al Jarwan who is the member of the International Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences also said that the Arabic new year will commence from July 30th this year.
