British-Pakistani architect Asif Khan:
This man is the brain behind the gigantic Expo gates. It is brilliantly merged the ancient mashrabiya design with an ultra-futuristic concept. A true genius, he was bestow by the coveted Member of the British Empire (MBE) for his assistance to architecture in 2017. In addition, his studio “Architects of the Year” by the German Design Council in 2018.
