Another milestone achieved by doctors of UAE

Woohoo!! Another milestone achieved by doctors of UAE as they saved a little boy’s life. The 12 year old boy was suffering from an orphan neurological disease. The same disease left his body half paralysed. Also, the boy’s respiratory organs failed after he got the disease.

Nikhil is the boy who was suffering from the neurological disorder. He is the son of Praveen and Tanu Lakhwani who are Indian expatriates. In early April, the 12 year old was having discomfort in moving his leg as it was paining. Also, Nikhil was feeling tired and dizzy at the same time.

Although the boy was having fatigue but his parents didn’t considered it to be that much serious. The reason being the boy was recovering from upeer respiratory tract infection at that time.

He was having the infection from two weeks that is why his parents thought that he might be getting tired in his recovery phase from the disease. They were having no idea that their son is suffering from a crictical rare neurological disorder.

After that, Nikhil started complaining about his pain and his parents took him to the NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah. The team of the doctors which detected that the boy is suffering from a rare neurological disorder.

Dr Deepika Gandhi who is the specialist paediatric in the intensive care department said that Nikhil’s condition is very uncommon and is named as GBS. According to her, Gullain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) can be found in any age group.

However, it is more common in adults than in children. The doctors managed to the treat and save the life of the young one. Thereby, another milestone achieved by doctors of UAE by saving Nikhil’s life.

Celebration of 75th anniversary of independence- Pakistan. UAE: Pakistan Association in Dubai, Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi, and a cuisine fair and cultural performances will celebrate Pakistan Independence Day celebrations.
The Pakistani Consulate General in Dubai has planned a number of events to mark the country’s 75th anniversary of independence.
