25 new paths made up at Makkah’s Grand Mosque

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques made an allocation. It has allocated 25 new paths at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. This done in order to provide comfort for visitors. Additionally they are also looking at precautionary measures. This was done to increase the worshipers and Umrah performers to the Grand Mosque amidst the current situation.

The presidency arranged social distancing stickers for the 25 new paths. This path allocated around the Tawaf (circumambulation) area. The aim was to keep pace with the preparations for the Umrah season. Separate path for people with disabilities allocated. For this as well precautionary measure have been taken into major consideration. The presidency has also prepared new prayer areas inside the Grand Mosque and its courtyards. This done specially for the Umrah performers in order to ensure their safety. The construction and maintenance works at the Two Holy Mosques ranks among the priorities for the Saudi authorities.

The presidency proudly announced that it has so far trained around 600 female employees. This includes both of its agencies or assisting agencies. This event led by Al-Anoud Al-Aboud, deputy president for women’s development affairs. 310 women employed under this. Around 200 women work for the Agency for Women’s Scientific, Intellectual and Guidance Affairs. This is led by Noura Al-Thuwaibi. Similarly apart from this the remaining women work at the Agency for Women’s Administrative and Service Affairs. This led by Kamelia Al-Daadi.
