Today, the fourth trading day of the week i.e. Thursday the stock market is closed at the green mark. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex rose 84.45 points, or 0.17 per cent, to close at 49746.21. At the same time, the Nifty on the National Stock Exchange closed at 14873.80 with a gain of 54.75 points or 0.37 percent. Sensitive short trading session of 30 shares of BSE rose 1,021.33 points or 2 percent in the previous week.

Speaking of large stocks, shares of JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Shree Cement, Ultratech Cement and Hindalco closed at the green mark today. On the other hand, shares of Sun Pharma, ONGC, Bajaj Finance, SBI Life, and Industry Bank closed higher.
Sectoral indicator tracking
If we look at the sectoral index, today Media, Metals, IT, Auto, FMCG and Realty are off the green mark. Financial services including private banks, PSU banks, banks, pharma are on the red mark.
