Petrol and diesel prices have created big problems for the people even amid the growing corona infection in the country. The price of petrol in the country has reached close to one hundred rupees per liter.
However, according to reports, petrol and diesel customers may be relieved in the coming days.
The oil exporting countries and the companies of the partner countries have agreed to gradually increase the oil production. For this reason, the prices of both these fuels may also come down in India.
Companies and partner countries of oil exporting countries will increase oil production by 2 million barrels per day from May to July. If the increase in oil production reduces the price of crude oil, the price of both fuels will start falling further in India.
In Mumbai, the country’s economic capital, petrol is being sold at Rs 99.96 per liter and diesel at Rs 87.96 per liter. In the national capital, petrol is priced at Rs 90.56 per liter and diesel at Rs 70.87 per liter.
