Gold prices continue to fall. The multimodo exchange was closed in the morning session on the occasion of Maha Shivratri on Thursday. Gold prices fell further in futures trading on Friday. On Friday, gold futures fell by Rs 138 to Rs 44,741 per 10 grams. In the previous trade, it was closed at Rs 44,879 per 10 grams in the evening. Gold traded at Rs 447,722 per 10 grams on the MSX around 9:30 am on Friday.
Like gold, silver futures are also declining. May silver futures fell by Rs 345 to Rs 2,67,200 per kg on Friday. In the previous trade, the closing price of silver futures in the evening was Rs 67,545 per kg.
On Wednesday, gold rose by Tk 112 to Rs 44,266 in Delhi’s Sarfa Bazaar. According to HDFC Securities, gold stood at Rs 44,174 per 10 grams in the previous trade. Like gold, silver also rose by Rs 126 to Rs 66,236 per kg. In the previous trade, the price of silver was closed at Rs 1,6610 per kg.
