Gold and silver prices rose sharply as the market opened on Thursday. Gold traded at Rs 43737379 per 100 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MSX) around 11.00 am on Thursday. Silver rose by Rs 169.00 to Rs 69,400 per kg.
The day before, gold prices had fallen sharply. Gold closed at Rs 46,102 per 10 grams in Delhi’s Saraf Bazaar on Wednesday. In the international market, gold fell by $ 1.66 an ounce and silver by ২ 2.10 an ounce.
Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate. In August, gold touched an all-time high. Gold price reached Rs 56,200 per 10 grams. Since then, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 9,300. Silver also reached close to Rs 77,840 per kg. Since then, the rupee has fallen by Rs 9,900.
