People are facing inflation due to rising petrol and diesel prices in the country. Both fuels also rose for the ninth day in a row on Wednesday.
Petrol and diesel prices have been hiked by 25 paise in the national capital. After that, the price of petrol here has gone up to Rs 89.54 per liter. Diesel has also been increased to Rs 799.99 per liter. In Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, petrol has been increased to Rs 100.07 per liter.
In Mysore, Mumbai, petrol is being sold at 96 liters and diesel at Rs 86.97. In Bangalore, petrol is being sold at Rs 92.48 and diesel at Rs 84.72, in Chennai at Rs 91.73 and diesel at Rs 85.05 and in Kolkata at Rs 90.79 and diesel at Rs 83.54 per liter. The rise in petrol and diesel prices is being identified as the reason for the rise in crude oil prices in the international market.
