Market closes at flat level: Sensex marginally higher, then Nifty falls

Today, on Friday, the last trading day of the week, the domestic stock market was flat at the end of the day-long fluctuations. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex closed at 12.7878 points (0.02 percent) at 51544.30. At the same time, the Nifty on the National Stock Exchange closed 10 points, or 0.07 percent, lower at 15,163.30.

The same was true of older stocks

Shares of Adani Ports, ICICI Bank, Infosys, Axis Bank and Wipro closed at the green mark today. Gayle, ITC, ONGC, Sun Pharma and Coal India are closed in the red.

Sectoral indicator tracking

If we look at the sectoral index, Media, Auto, FMCG, Metals and Pharma are off the red mark. Banks, Finance Services, Realty, PSU Bank, Private Bank and IT are closed in the green.

In the six days of the budget, the assets of investors have increased by Rs 16.70 lakh crore. The market has been in turmoil since the budget day presented on February 1. The market capitalization (market cap) of the top ten Sensex companies rose jointly to Rs 5,13,532.5 crore last week amid a broadly positive market sentiment. During this period, the market capitalization of banks is seen as the highest.

The market opened with a slight increase today

The Sensex rose 3.1.13 points, or 0.07 percent, to 51,568.6.55 in early trade today. At the same time, the Nifty opened 12 points, or 0.08 percent, at 15,185.30.

The market was closed at the green mark on Thursday

The nationwide stock market closed at the green mark on Thursday after fluctuating throughout the day. The Sensex rose 222.13 points (0.43 percent) to 51531.52. The Nifty closed 66.80 points or 0.44 percent higher at 15173.30.
