In all other major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata, gold prices have also come down.
According to Good Returns, in Mumbai, 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,600 per 10 grams, while 24-carat gold costs Rs 47,600 per 10 grams.
The price of 22 karat gold in Chennai is Rs 44,830 per 10 grams. If you are going to buy 10 grams of 24-carat gold in the city, then you will invest Rs 48,900.
The price of 22 carat gold in Delhi is Rs 46,500 per 10 grams. The price of 24-carat gold has decreased by Rs 430 and now it is priced at Rs 50,730 in the city.
In Kolkata, West Bengal, to purchase 10 grams of 22-carat gold, you have to spend Rs 47,050, while the same quantity of 24-carat gold can be purchased for Rs 49,750.
Internationally, the price of gold has increased by 1.60 USD. It is now the US $ 1,795.50 per ounce. However, gold has not performed well in the last 30 days as its price has decreased by USD 155.
The price of silver has also come down by Rs 10 per 10 grams. On February 5, the metal is priced at Rs 680 per 10 grams and can be purchased for Rs 68,000 per kg in most major cities.
